Servia FAQ

Question 1

Does Servia insure my clothes?

Accepted Answer

No. Servia provides laundry and garment-care services and does not automatically insure garments for their full retail or replacement value. If you have a high-value, luxury, vintage, antique, sentimental or irreplaceable item, please tell us before processing so we can determine whether we can safely accept it and whether any special arrangement is required. See the full Laundry & Garment Care Terms at https://servia.ae/terms#laundry-care.

Question 2

What if my laundry garment is damaged?

Accepted Answer

Notify Servia promptly and keep the garment available. If damage or loss is proven, Servia provides a refund or credit of all or part of the Servia service fee paid for that booking. If your item's value is higher than the service fee, you must tell us in writing before processing, and Servia can proceed only after agreeing in writing to accept it. Claims are assessed under the applicable service terms and UAE law; a stated value alone does not set the amount. Servia is not an insurer and offers no fixed cover amount. See https://servia.ae/terms#laundry-care.
