Same-day flower delivery in Dubai: cut-offs, fees, midnight and express slots

# Key takeaways

• Order by 6 PM for same-day flower delivery anywhere in Dubai. Delivery is AED 20, and free on orders above AED 250.
• A fixed 2-hour slot costs +AED 20. The midnight slot (11 PM to 12:30 AM) costs +AED 60 and must be ordered by 8 PM.
• 90-minute express is +AED 35, bookable until 8 PM, and only where a partner florist has capacity, so it is confirmed when you order rather than guaranteed.
• Some orders have earlier cut-offs: 2 PM for 100-stem arrangements and 3 PM for anything that includes a cake.
• The recipient's mobile number and an accurate map pin matter more than anything else for an on-time handover.

You can send flowers anywhere in Dubai on the same day as long as you order by 6 PM, and delivery costs AED 20, or nothing once your order passes AED 250. What decides whether it arrives when you want it is the slot you choose, the size of the order and how precise the address details are. This guide walks through each of those, so a last-minute order still lands well.

# Same-day cut-offs and fees at a glance

Every arrangement is handcrafted and delivered by Servia's vetted partner florists, and deliveries run 7 days a week, including public holidays. These are the rules that apply to a Dubai address:

On peak days (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day on 21 March and Eid) the same-day cut-off moves 2 hours earlier and fixed slots are not offered, so plan those orders a day or more ahead.

# Standard, fixed slot, express or midnight: which to choose

Standard delivery is right for most gifts. The arrangement goes out the same day and reaches the recipient during the delivery window. It suits homes where someone is likely to be in, and offices with a staffed reception.

A fixed 2-hour slot (+AED 20) is worth it when timing matters: a surprise during a lunch you know about, a recipient who leaves the office at a set time, or a hotel room you want dressed before check-in.

90-minute express (+AED 35) exists for genuine last-minute moments. It is offered until 8 PM only where a partner florist near the address has capacity, so it is confirmed at the time you order rather than assumed. If express is not possible for your area or time, standard or a fixed slot is the honest alternative.

The midnight slot (+AED 60, 11 PM to 12:30 AM) is for birthdays and anniversaries that start at midnight. Order by 8 PM, and make sure the recipient, or someone in the household, will actually open the door at that hour.

# What the courier needs from you

Most delivery delays in Dubai come down to missing details rather than traffic. Before you pay, check you have:

1. The recipient's mobile number, not yours. The courier calls on arrival, and a number that rings through to the recipient avoids waiting in a lobby.
2. A map pin, especially for villas in communities such as Arabian Ranches or Dubai Hills Estate, where street names alone can confuse navigation apps.
3. Building, tower and flat number for apartments in areas like Dubai Marina and JLT, including the tower name if several share one plot.
4. Company name and floor for office deliveries in Business Bay or DIFC, plus whether reception can sign for it.
5. A fallback instruction, such as leaving it with the concierge or a named colleague if the recipient cannot come down.

# How to order in a few minutes

You can order online at servia.ae or on WhatsApp. On WhatsApp, send three things: the recipient's area, the occasion and your budget. Servia replies with suitable options and a payment link, and confirms the order and the final total, including any slot surcharge, before you pay.

Write the card message at the same time. The message card is free, and a short, specific message reads better than a long generic one. If you want to see the finished arrangement, a photo on WhatsApp before dispatch is available on request; ask when you order.

# Tips for last-minute same-day orders

• Choose a design, not an exact stem count, when time is short. Arrangements may vary slightly with seasonal availability, and letting the florist work with what is freshest keeps quality up on a tight clock.
• Classic red roses are the safest fast option. Twelve roses are AED 159 and 24 roses AED 259, which also clears the free-delivery threshold.
• Add-ons travel with the flowers. Chocolates start at AED 49, a foil balloon is AED 35 and a glass vase AED 39. A vase is worth adding if you are not sure the recipient has one.
• Order cakes and 100-stem arrangements in the morning. Their earlier cut-offs (3 PM and 2 PM) are there because they take longer to prepare.
• Avoid 5 PM panic on peak days. On Valentine's, Mother's Day and Eid, the Dubai cut-off moves to 4 PM.

# FAQ

Can I order in the morning and have flowers arrive before lunch?

Possibly. If you order early, a standard delivery may well arrive before lunch, but it is not tied to a specific time. If lunch is the moment that matters, book a fixed 2-hour slot for AED 20 extra so the delivery window is agreed rather than hoped for.

Can I send flowers to a hotel guest in Dubai?

Yes. Give the hotel name, the guest's full name as it appears on the booking and, if you know it, the room number. Hotels normally receive flowers at the front desk or concierge and pass them to the room, so a guest's mobile number is still useful in case the courier needs to confirm arrival.

Why is express shown as available for one address but not another?

The 90-minute express option depends on whether a partner florist close to the delivery address has capacity at that moment. Central and busy areas may have it when a quieter area does not, and it can change through the day. When it is not available, a fixed 2-hour slot is the most reliable way to control timing.

How long will a same-day rose bouquet last?

With care, roses typically last several days to about a week. Trim the stems at an angle, put them in clean water straight away, change the water every day or two and keep the vase away from direct sun and AC vents. Removing leaves that sit below the waterline also helps.
